Why does my old bottle of Cactus Juice say "Insect Protectant" and my new one says "Outdoor Protectant" ? As of August 2002 there has been a mandate by U.S. E.P.A. that we are no longer allowed to say "INSECTS, or "BUGS" on our labels, or make any claims of repellant quality. To do so would be a violation of this order until we would register as a pesticide. As a small company we cannot afford this option at this time, so we changed our labeling to comply. We now say "PROTECTS FROM MANY OF NATURE'S ASSAULTS". The formula is E X A C T L Y the same even though some of the ingredient names may look different.
